Thanksgiving Crafts

Thanksgiving Napkin Holder

Thanksgiving Crafts Supplies:

Empty toilet paper roll,orange and yellow tissus paper
glue, small acorns, yellow,red, and orange ribbon, green construction paper, hole puncher.

  • Cut the tissus paper in short strips.
  • Have the kids put glue on the paper roll and wrap strips of colored tissus around it.
  • Keep gluing pieces until the roll is covered. Let it dry.
  • Cut a circle about the size of a small juice glass.
  • Punch two holes in the center. It will look like a big button!
  • Make little bows with the ribbons.

  • Let the kids glue the little bows plus the acorns on the button.
  • Run a ribbon through the holes and around the paper roll and tie in place with a knot

    Insert a lovely Thanksgiving serviette!

    Teach the children a few Thanksgiving Songs and Rhymes they can recite on Thanksgiving Day.

    Thanksgiving Door Hanger

    Supplies:

    a paper plate, fall color construction paper, scissors, glue, googley eyes, hole puncher, string

  • Trace turkey feathers, feet and head on different fall color construction paper and cut them out.
  • Glue feathers around the top of the plate to form a turkey tail.
  • Glue feet on the bottom part of the plate.
  • Glue the head in the middle of the plate.
  • Glue on the googley eyes.
  • Punch a hole ot the top and insert the string.

    Hang on your front door!
