Family Day Activities

Family Days Activities with preschool kids are fun to organize.
Start a new tradition in your family.
Quick and Easy tips for a Fun and Relaxed Family Day.

1. Decide the date on which to have your Family Day.

Note: In Canada, Family Day is celebrated on the third Monday of February.

2. Make it a full day event.

3. Plan your menu accordingly. A special family day brunch and a easy delicious plan ahead meal for supper.
Don't forget to chose a family's favorite desert recipe which will become part of the Family Day Traditional meal.

4. Have the family help you decide on games to play on this special day. Board games are great and so are social games (pin the tail on the donkey)

Note: No video and TV (unless it is a video of the family!)

5. If weather permits select games to play outdoors too.

6. If it is very cold outside why not let everyone stay in Pajamas's for the day.

7. Prepare a little snack for the evening and sit around the fireplace in the living room. It will be time for everyone to share what they like about the family!

Note: If you don't have a fireplace buy one of those DVD with a fireplace with burning woods. Turn the lights low. Make it real cosy.
