Chocolate Chips Brownie Squares
4 eggs 1/2 cup of butter 1 cup of sugar 1 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1 cup of flour 1/2 cup of cocoa 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Melt butter and chocoate chips in microwave. Let cool. In a large bowl beat the eggs until foamy. Beat in the sugar, butter, and vanilla. Mix together the flour, salt, cocoa and add to the egg mixture. Fold in the dry mixture.
Spread batter in a 13 x 9 x 2 greased baking pan.
Bake in a preheated oven 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

Butterscotch Squares
3/4 cup of flour 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1/4 cup of butter 1 cup of brown sugar 1 egg lighly beaten 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1/2 cup of chopped nuts
Mix in a bowl the flour, baking powder and salt. Melt butter and brown sugar in the microwave. Stir in beaten egg. Blend in dry ingredients and mix well. Add vanilla and chopped nuts. Pour batter in a 8" x 8" baking dish
Bake in 300 degree preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes.
Grandma's Butter Tarts
12 frozen tarts 1/4 cup of raisins 1/4 cup of butter 1/2 cup of brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/3 cup corn syrup 1 egg beaten 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Line 12 muffin tins with tarts. Place raisin in a bowl and cover them with boiling water for 5-10 minutes. Mix in a seperate bowl, butter, brown sugar, salt and corn syrup. Add drained raisins and stir vigourously until butter is melted. Add beaten egg and vanilla.
Bake in 400 degree preheated oven for 10 -20 minutes.
Chocolate Chips Cookies
1 cup butter shortening 3/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with parchement paper. In a large bowl, cream together the butter shortening, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, and beat addition, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into the egg mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto a cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until light brown.
