All About Me
The "All About Me" theme is a great way to start off a new school year. It is important for children to recognize their individuality as well as to recognize their place among a group.
This
preschool theme
will help them see that they have attributes that are their own and also to help them understand that other children in the group may or may not share the same attributes the same likes and preferences. Children will recognize and understand that everyone is different and that we all have our own taste and preferences.
A Book About Me
Help the children prepare their own little booklet titled All About Me
Supplies:
10 sheets of 5 x 7 white paper Pencil Colored crayons Pictures from home and Magazines
Each child will have a 10 page booklet. You may want to wait at the end of this activity to staple their booklet together. They can have more than one favorite thing for each page. Write at the very top a title for each page:
Tip: Write the date and year on the back page of their booklet.
