Hide And Seek

Hide-and-Seek is a game in which a number of players hide somewhere in the play area, and the seeker has to find them one by one.

One player (designated "it") counts to a predetermined number while the other players hide. After reaching the number, the player who is "it" tries to find the other players.

Hide and Seek Games is a great teaching tool. It gives you lots of opportunities to teach to your preschoolers new concepts or to re-enforce old one .

Hide and Seek games are easy to teach, and preschoolers absolutly enjoy playing them.

Here's a few ideas to implement:

Match a story to the game you are playing. Read the story to the children first. It helps them familiarize with the characters of the story.

Have the children color a picture of the characters in the stories.

Teach them a new song

Find other oppurtunities to teach them counting and number concepts.
